Using your own save game for a Ylands Server

Rent now your own prepaid Ylands at Nitrado.net
Hello, in this article you will learn how to add your own "SessionSave.Ylands" on your Nitrado Ylands Game Server.
Getting Started
- Navigate to your Nitrado Web interface
- Stop your server and wait 3-5 minutes
- Go to "General -> Settings"
- Change the Game State to "Use latest current savegame"
- Change the Game Mode to the desired type
- Save Changes and leave the server stopped
Getting the Exploration Save Ready
Here you will take your local Exploration save and make it ready to upload to the Nitrado server.
- Navigate to the steam library on your local computer:
- Generally it can be found here by default:
C:\Program Files (x86)]\Steam\userdata\[Your ID number]\298610\remote\SaveGames
- Generally it can be found here by default:
- Here will be the world you created:"SaveGameName.ylandsgame" extension.
- Copy this file to your desktop for easy access.
- Rename the copied file on your desktop to:
SessionSave.ylandsgame
Applying the save to your server
- Under tools, navigate to the "File Browser" of your server.
- Select your "Ylands" Game Folder.
- Find SessionSave.ylandsgame in the "Ylands" folder.
- Delete or rename this folder (Example: SessionSave.ylandsgame_Old)
- Upload your "SessionSave.ylandsgame" from your desktop to your "Ylands" Game Folder.
- You can use the "Upload file" button at the bottom.
- Wait for the Upload to finish
After the upload has finished:
- Inside your "Ylands" folder click on "DsConfig.json"
- Modify the "SessionData element" to read:
"SessionData":"./SessionSave.ylandsgame"
- "Restart" the server to apply your settings and save game.
