Connect to a Garry's Mod server

A direct connection to a Steam server is possible with the following steps:

You can find the IP address of your server in the web interface.

Variant 1 (Steam Favorites List)

• Start Steam
• Click on the "Servers" option in the menu (found under "View")
  
• Then click on "Favorites"
• Now the IP address of the game server can be added in the "FAVORITES" tab with a right-click (add server via IP address).

Variant 2 (start options)

No password

• Start Steam
• Open the tab "Library> Games"
• Right click on the game.
• Click on the "Properties" option
• Select the button "SET START OPTIONS ..."
• Add the parameter +connect 127.0.0.1:27015 (replace the IP for your server IP)
  
• Confirm with "OK"
• Start the game

Now you can connect to the server.

With password

• Start Steam
• Open the tab "Library>Games".
• Right click on the game.
• Click on the "Properties" option
• Select the button "SET START OPTIONS ..."
• Add parameter +connect 127.0.0.1:27015 +password "PASSWORD" (replace IP / password with IP / password of the game server)
  
• Confirm with "OK"
• Start the game

Now you can connect to the server.
