Description
Minecraft is a sandbox game developed by Markus "Notch" Person. The development began on 10th May 2009 as an Alpha and was officially released on 18th November 2011 (Version 1.0.0).
Even before the official release, the game became an Indie hit, selling millions of copies and attracting attention from around the world. Players can explore an unlimited 3-dimensional world and build gigantic housing/bases,
mine precious ores and minerals, and destroy various blocks and enemies.
Minecraft can be played with a multitude of mods and texture packs*, all of which change the games in various ways!
Mods only supported on the PC version. Servers only hosted for PC and Pocket Editions (Windows 10 uses Pocket Editions).
