ULX installation for Garrys Mod

Rent your own prepaid Nitrado Game Server today at nitrado.net
The latest SVN version is recommended for the installation of the admin panel ULX, since it contains all the updates and therefore works the most stable.
What is required?
- GMod Server
- Subversion (Windows)
- WinSCP / Filezilla
The download of ULX
- Subversion must first be installed, which can be downloaded from the manufacturer homepage. (Select whether x64 or x86).
- The downloaded package has to be installed, but nothing has to be done. The deactivation of the supplied toolbars is useful.
When this is done, we will turn to the actual download.
Now the following steps must be followed:
- Create a folder on the desktop - one ULIB, the other ULX
- Now select ULIB with the right mouse button and SVN Checkout
- The first line is filled with the following link: https://github.com/Nayruden/Ulysses.git/trunk/ulib
- Remaining options remain unchanged and you start the download with Ok
- Now we repeat steps 2 to 4, however, with the following link: https://github.com/Nayruden/Ulysses.git/trunk/ulx and the folder ULX
Done! Now all the files are on your client.
Installation & Configuration
To install ULX, the folders ULX and ULIB must be uploaded to the /gmod13/garrysmod/addons/*folder. Just connect and upload to your server via WinSCP or FileZilla.
Now the server must be restarted via web interface. Then we have to add ourselves to the admin group. However, we must first join the server. This is the fastest via console (if it is not known how to open this will look briefly in Google for GMod Console). To do this, we enter connect SERVERIP: PORT, where the caps must be replaced by your IP or port.
Now we see in the console, when everything has loaded: PLAYER_XY (STEAM_ID) joined SERVER_XY
The Steam ID is now to be transferred via C & P, then we open the directory: /gmod13/garrysmod/settings and the users.txt There we change the following:
"Users" { "superadmin" { //"garry" "STEAM_0:1:7099" "DEIN INGAME NAME" "STEAM_1:ID" } "admin" { //"garry" "STEAM_0:1:7099" } }
After this, restart the console and go to the ULX Admin Interface via ! Menu
.
