What is GeyserMC?

It's a Minecraft plugin that enables clients from Minecraft Bedrock Edition to join your Minecraft Java server.

What is Floodgate?

Floodgate is a hybrid mode plugin which allows for Minecraft: Bedrock Accounts to join Minecraft: Java Edition servers without needing a Minecraft: Java Edition account.

How to install GeyserMC and Floodgate

  • First please download the correspondent .jar version of GeyserMC and Floodgate compatible with your server.

Download GeyserMC.

Download Floodgate.

  • Upload the .jar files to the Plugin folder in your server.

  • Once the files are uploaded, start your server to generate the configuration files.

  • Open the config.yml file that's located in the Geyser-Spigot folder.
  • Modify the line 13 (address) and set the IP address of your server (Without the port) e.g. 192.168.1.254
  • Modify the line 15 (port) and set the Port of your server +4 e.g. 10004 (This is the port you will use to connect to the server from the Bedrock version)

  • You can modify the server name modifying the parameter server-name
  • Modify the line 41 (address) and set the IP address of your server (Without the port) e.g. 192.168.1.254
  • Modify the line 44 (port) and set the Port of your server 10000 (This is the port you will use to connect to the server from the Java version)
  • Modify the line 46 (auth-type) and set the parameter to floodgate.

  • Save the changes and start your server.
