This option allows the server to report when an administrator uses a command. It is a useful tool on unofficial servers that want to maintain a transparent attitude towards their users.

Enable Server Admin Log

  • Login to your Nitrado.net account
  • Stop the server
  • Navigate to the General settings section of your server

  • Locate the Admin-Log section, where you will find two options:

    • Activate the Admin-Log:
      • Checking this box will activate the admin log
    • Game Log Buffer
      • This field defines the number of lines to be saved in the record
  • Now you must save the changes and start the server
  • Once the Admin Log has been activated, you will be able to view it via the RCON tool.

Activating the Administration Log Manually

In case you have activated the expert mode, you will have to manually activate the Administration Logs.

  • Stop the server
  • Go to "Expert Mode" in your Web Interface
  • Select the Game.ini
  • Set the following argument to "true":
    • AdminLogging=true
  • Save the changes
  • Start the server

Evaluate the Server Admin Logs

With an RCON tool, (eg. Arkon) you can evaluate the Admin Logs. This requires the command "getgamelog" in RCON. Afterwards, the log file will be output.

As an alternative method, the logs can be accessed through the file browser on the web interface, or through FTP in this directory: arkse / Shooter Game / Saved / Logs

Keep in mind that this log is updated roughly every 5 minutes. The most recent entries will be output in the RCON.
