Connect to your Insurgency server

There are two different ways to connect to an Insurgency server.
Please note: Insurgency seems to have long times when connecting to a new server.
Method 1: Steam favorites list
- Start Steam
- Go to "View -> Servers" in the header bar
- Click on the "Favorites" tab
- Add your server to favorites using IP address and port
- Start Insurgency
- Open the server browser and select "Favorites" as the list type
- The added server should now appear
Method 2: direct boot option
- Start Steam
- Go to "Games -> View Game Library" in the header bar
- Right click on "Insurgency"
- Select the menu item Properties
- Click the button SET LAUNCH OPTIONS
- Enter
+ connect 127.0.0.1:27015in the text input field (change the example IP with the IP address of your server)
- Use
+ connect 127.0.0.1:27015 + password "YOUR PASSWORD"if the server is password protected
- Use
- Confirm with OK
- Launch Insurgency through Steam and it should connect directly to the server.
