Battleye Filter Tool

Where to find the battleye filter logs.

  • Log into your Arma 3 Nitrado Control Panel
  • Select Filebrowser
  • Select arma3 directory
  • select config directory
  • select battleye directory

Here you will see duplicate files one set named .txt and another named .log.

If you have just experienced a battleye kick, check the time stamps on the .log files, to see the latest kicks.

The Error

02.10.2016 09:04:54: hills (94.175.42.70:21202) dd01cb06d682b9be51231111b0baf243 - #15 "ectionPosition ["end2", "Memory"]))) < _range}
) then
{
_x setDamage 1;
};
}
forEach (nearestObjects [_col_abs, "

To solve we need to remove all the garbage.

TIME & DATE

PLAYERS NAME

I.P and PORT

(94.175.42.70:21202)

PLAYER GUID

LINE NUMBER FOR ERROR – REMEMBER THIS, WE WILL NEED IT LATER

#15

Once removed we are left with

"ectionPosition ["end2", "Memory"]))) < _range}
) then
{
_x setDamage 1;
};
}
forEach (nearestObjects [_col_abs, "

COPY AND PASTE THIS INTO THE TOOL LINKED ABOVE

It will return the following line of code, after clicking submit.

!="ectionPosition ["end2", "Memory"]))) < _range}\n) then\n{\n_x setDamage 1; \n};\n}\nforEach (nearestObjects [_col_abs, "\"

Now we need to add this to the correct file.

"BattlEye script restriction # 15"

This tells me the error is in the scripts.txt file.

How to add it to Scripts.txt

As you may have noticed, when being kicked a number is mentioned. #15 in this case.

This represents the line of code you need to edit inside the scripts.txt.

However if you use the latest BattlEye filters you will have to add +2 to #15. Meaning that you will have to modify line #17!

Now open scripts.txt, find line #17 and add the exception we made above to the end of that line!

How do I apply my changes?

It's simple. You save the file and you DO NOT HAVE TO RESTART your server. You can simply open the rcon tool of your choice and click "Refresh Scripts". This will refresh the scripts.txt file and the exceptions will be added. All done neatly and fast! No problems here.
